The application must include a project title, the name(s) and CV(s) for the principal faculty sponsor(s) and a one-page description that addresses:
The purpose of the activity.
The goals envisioned.
Structure of the activity.
Provisional dates. Timeline – schedule of activities and events.
Amount of funding requested with a proposed budget.
Expected outcomes, assessment of impact, and how this will be documented.
Primary research will not be funded by the Faculty Initiative Fund.
No more than one grant will be awarded to principal sponsors per academic year.
Grant recipients must acknowledge the Office of Faculty Affairs in any publications, advertisements, promotional materials or public statements.
Notification: Applicants are notified of funding decisions the week of April 25, 2016.
Post Award Reporting:
Grant recipients will provide a one-page post award summary within 30 days of completion of the initiative or activity to include:
1. Title of the activity
3. Outcomes and assessment of impact
4. Next Steps (if applicable)
5. Expenditures from Faculty Initiative Fund
